Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Toronto walking tours provided at muwexya.top. By booking or participating in a tour, you agree to these Terms.
Definitions
- “We”, “us”, “our” refers to the tour operator of muwexya.top.
- “You”, “participant”, “guest” refers to the person booking or attending a tour.
- “Tour” refers to any guided experience, walk, or event offered by us.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to book. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically fit to participate.
Bookings and payments
- All prices are in CAD; HST applies where required.
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of payment confirmation.
- If payment is declined or reversed, your booking may be cancelled without further notice.
- Gift vouchers and promo codes, where offered, are subject to individual terms and expiry dates.
- We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and, if necessary, offer a refund if you choose not to proceed.
Arrival, lateness, and no-shows
- Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Lateness beyond 10 minutes after the start time may be considered a no-show with no refund.
- Tours depart promptly to maintain schedules and respect other guests.
Cancellations and refunds
- Full refund within 48 hours of purchase if the tour has not started.
- Rescheduling allowed up to 24 hours before the tour start time, subject to availability.
- No refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour start or for no-shows.
- If we cancel due to safety, weather, staffing, or operational issues, you may choose a full refund or a rebooking.
- Refunds, when applicable, are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Weather and force majeure
- Tours run rain or shine; please dress appropriately for conditions.
- We may modify routes or shorten tours for safety in case of severe weather or events beyond our control.
- In rare cases of official advisories or emergencies, tours may be cancelled with full refund or rebooking option.
Accessibility and special needs
- Some routes may include uneven sidewalks, stairs, or construction detours.
- Please contact us in advance regarding mobility needs so we can recommend suitable tours.
- Service animals are welcome where permitted by local regulations.
Conduct
- Be respectful of residents and public space. We may refuse service for disruptive behaviour.
- No harassment, hate speech, or disorderly conduct is tolerated.
- Follow guide instructions and local laws at all times.
- Alcohol or illegal substances are not permitted during tours.
Safety
- Stay with the group and use crosswalks where available.
- Wear appropriate footwear and remain aware of surroundings.
- Inform your guide of any medical concerns before the tour begins.
Photography and media
- Personal photography is generally permitted, respecting privacy and local rules.
- We may capture photos or short videos for promotional purposes during public tours. If you prefer not to appear, notify your guide at the start and avoid camera views.
Liability
Walking tours involve inherent risks. You participate at your own discretion; we are not liable for incidental damages beyond what the law requires. To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable tour.
Personal property
- You are responsible for your belongings. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
Changes to services
- We may change tour routes, durations, or group sizes to improve experiences or address operational needs.
- Material changes will be communicated to booked guests via the contact details provided at checkout.
Privacy
- We collect and process only the information necessary to operate tours and provide customer support.
- By booking, you consent to receiving service communications about your tour.
Disputes and governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
- Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
Updates to these Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date below reflects the latest revision.
